Nightlife on the Islands is always lively and bustling. The great spot is Paceville, situated just within walking distance from St Julians. Malta’s discotheques and nightclubs are concentrated here and there are some amazing dancefloors to visit!

Year after year, sees the performance of the world’s greatest in the major music concerts (Sting, Roger Waters, Sir Bob Geldof, Elton John, Bryan Adams) are held all summer long by individual organisers, attracting massive crowds of both tourists and locals alike.

The Maltese Islands have also become a hub for the clubbing scene. Internationally renowned DJs appear (Paul Oakenfold, Erick Morillo, Magda, Tiesto, Van Heill) are just a few to mention. This scene thrives all year round and is an all-week affair in a variety of venues, from large clubs to quieter bars where some excellent house DJs entertain and the admission is free. Also in Summer, during the weekends, Gianpula, Numero 1 are great places to visit as well as Amazonia which is located in Bugibba.

The Maltese Islands have a prominent calendar of cultural events to see, such as the Summer Malta Arts Festival, the Valletta Baroque Festival, the Opera Festival, the Choir Festival and the International Jazz Festival held in July. Again, the nightlife in Malta is one of the best you can find.
